Business Support Manager

35 Hours

Grade 8

£20,395 - £21,644

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Grade 8 Business Support Manager to join our hard working and successful team, as soon as possible. The position is for 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, term time only.  The core hours are currently under review and so we can offer some flexibility as to the start/finish times for the right candidate.

We will be joining the Blessed Peter Snow Academy Trust on 1 February 2022

The post will involve working closely with the Head Teacher and office team to provide a high standard of business support.  The scope will be wide ranging and the applicant must demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have the ability to work in a busy environment and manage their time to meet deadlines
  • Be an organised and experienced administrator
  • Play a pivotal role in the development of an up to date, school wide, parental communication strategy - researching, developing, implementing and monitoring of same
  • Be able to draw on best practice, ideally from an educational setting
  • Be flexible and proactive
  • Have a strong academic background with high level Literacy, Mathematical and IT skills.
  • Understand the school context and current issues affecting education
  • Be discreet and possess the ability to work securely with confidential information
  • Have a cheerful and positive disposition
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with children, staff and parents
  • Be committed to the further development of our school
  • Be committed to the safeguarding of children
